Yesterday we were present with our Aleia roses at the second edition of a floral festival organized by Vogue, in the gardens of the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam. Visitors could get free entrance by showing a Vogue Magazine. After entering the festival terrain, people could pick 5 flowers for free and have them wrapped in a paper in order to bring home properly. Vogue installed a row of flower carts containing a large variety of flowers, sponsored by different growers. The total of those carts resulted in a bright floral scenery. Many picked the Aleia rose and combined it with other colours to obtain a colourful mini bouquet. Besides that, in the neighbouring garden, a big X was dressed up with our roses too. The X was set up by LM Flower Fashionable Production comissioned by X Bank which is a well-known concept store in Amsterdam, situated in the basement of the famous W-Hotel.
The festival is visited by mostly women of the age of 25-45. Besides enjoying the flowers, people could test new parfume fragrances, have a coffee, listen to music and buy clothing or accessoiries in the various pop-up shops and attend workshops. In this great ambiance the ladies could paint their favorite flower on a real painters easel.
